Gord Fleming - Chair
Gord Fleming Gord Fleming is the new Executive Director of Church Planting for the B.C. Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches and oversees a current vision to launch 100 new churches in B.C. by 2011.

Dan Chapman - Vice Chair
Dan Chapman Dan has been a church planter since 1970, having planted churches in Colombia S.A. and in B.C.

Since 1995 he has worked as the Director of Church Planting and Ethnic Ministries for the Fellowship Baptist Churches in B.C. & Yukon. Dan has worked with CCPAC since it's inception in 1995.

Doug Epp - Facilitator
Doug Epp Doug represents Mennonite Church BC on the CCPAC committee. He is presently Director of Service Learning at Columbia Bible College. Prior to that he was the church planter / pastor of Crossroads Community Church in Chilliwack for 9 years. In the past he has also been the Interim Director of Evangelism and Church Development for Mennonite Church BC. Doug and his wife Sandy went through an assessment process prior to planting Crossroads. He has been part of the CCPAC assessment team for seven years. Doug has a heart for church planting and a desire to see people properly assessed so they can minister well according to their gifting.

Ron Bonar
Ron Bonar Dr. Ron Bonar was born in Newmarket, Ontario to Salvation Army Officers. He lived in most of Canada’s provinces, in Europe and in the U.S. He received his education from York University, a degree in Business Administration and Articled as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers. He continued his theological education by attending the Salvation Army Training College for two years, Trinity Western University and Faith Lutheran Evangelical Seminary where he received a Doctor of Ministry degree.

He and Jennifer, his wife, served as Salvation Army Officers for 12 years and then Ron became the Superintendent for Church Development with the Free Methodist Church in Canada for another 10 years. Ron has been the District Superintendent at the Central Canadian District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance since 2003. Together Ron and Jennifer have two children, Sarah and John, and two granddaughters.
   

 



Next Assessment

  • The Next Spring Assessment is scheduled for June 7-9, 2010 at Willingdon Church in Burnaby, BC and the Fall Assessment will be held from September 29 to October 1, 2010 in Toronto (location TBA). We look forward to seeing you there!
